Training on “Drawing up a business plan” at SPP Bujumbura

PARJE is a non-profit organization created in 2013 and which contributes through the promotion of entrepreneurship: increasing production, raising the level of decent and growing income of the population, etc.

After a few years of work in the field, PARJE has already recorded considerable and very positive results which can be seen through the training and coaching given since its creation in 2013. To date, the major results already achieved are:

  • Training and coaching of 180 entrepreneurs as part of in-house projects, 51 of whom have already started their own ventures during 2014 and 2015. These 51 companies have already created over 100 jobs;
  • Training and coaching of 2 groups of entrepreneurs within the framework of other organizations’ projects. Organization of 6 mentoring cocktails, which become matchmaking spaces for all the entrepreneurs already trained.
  • Already signed with 3 partners SEGAL Family Foundation, Cordaid and Care International and more than 5 partners in negotiation.

With a view to increasing its results and creating more impact in the Burundian community, especially by reducing the causes of failure for most young entrepreneurs, which result from a lack of knowledge or ignorance of how to plan their projects, the PARJE organization organized a training session on drawing up a business plan for 25 young entrepreneurs with good ideas.

The training took place from January 03 to 07, 2017 in Bujumbura on the premises of FVS-AMADE Burundi for 25 selected young people.
